339 records started as a sister label of 678 records.

678 records was set up by painted dog owner sander huibers and music journalist frank jochemsen to release and re-issue music by the great late keyboard player rob franken but in fact 678 records just looks for fender rhodes inspired (dutch) jazz and funk.

when Subes came along we didnt find it suitable for 678 so sander huibers created 339 records (as he is half of 678)

Subes album Contra Bossa was only released in a pressing of 500. Some were used for promotion but most of the pressing sold out.

The releases after Subes on 339 are all by D-Felic. In collaboration with D-Felic 339 records released 7 digital ep's wich are all available at Itunes, traxsource, Juno etc..

In the meantime the label released a second SUBES album on cd and lp, 2 cd's by RENEGADES OF JAZZ and 2 cd's by TINI THOMSEN

later in 2017 you can expect a brand new ep by UMEME AFRORAVE
